AP PSYCHOLOGY [09 Oct 2006|03:13am]
Upon further review, AP Psychology should definitely count as a Health credit and a Biology credit and probably a Physics credit, too. I will never need another science after that class, which wasn't even considered a science. A "social study." Horseshit.

THEY DO THAT HORSE SHIT EVERY WEEKEND!

Oh, and apparently you need MS Access to get credit for BCIS by correspondence and let's see, I am starting the second semester of it and UH-OH NO ACCESS TO MS ACCESS ON MY COMPUTER! I'd say the irony is delicious if I didn't have to get this shit done. Durp Durp Durp.

This song is making my really miss like 9th and 10th grade. That's why I am putting on the old school DForce userpic. Man, fuck growing up.

Hormones [12 Aug 2006|06:21pm]
So, I realized that the day I turned 17 was basically the day I really became a stereotypical teenager, what with sleeping all the time etc etc. So I guess I was just wondering if anyone else has been having wild emotional mood swings. Like... i feel like i am pmsing. Someone please tell me I am definitely not alone because I feel really fucked up right now.

Awkward [31 Jul 2006|04:29am]
So, It is 4:29 and I just woke up because apparently I have an affinity for falling asleep while reading Lord Jim by Joseph Conrad. This is making it very difficult to finish the book. Plus, it's one of those Barnes and Noble Classics with the endnotes, and I was reading like #29 out of sixty-something and it told me how the book ends. I am going to fucking kill Mr. Barnes and Mr. Noble. The moral of the story is don't read anything in the introduction (because I was reading Animal Farm, not even Barnes and Noble, and the story was semi-given away in the introduction) or the end notes (Because of Lord Jim and The Time Machine/The Invisible Man, where it started calling the Invisible Man by his name like 100 pages before you find out what it is.) I am just going to stop reading.

Also, I got a Sega Genesis off eBay. I never had one when I was growing up. Now I do. I like playing Sonic. I've been bidding on games, but that probably isn't healthy for me because when I lose a bid I lose my mind and I'm going to hunt down the people who outbid me, even if they didn't win. It will teach them to keep a skeptical eye on the bidding. No one fucks with my bartering.

Oh, and I have been having qualms with the school, and, in a larger sense, the legislation of the state of Texas. Allow me to explain (first, a few notes, which, unlike any books by Signet or B&N, will not ruin the story): I went to this Foundation for Teaching Economics in June/July and I was in Ohio with a bunch of people from around the U.S., but there were two other kids from Texas, and Houston at that, one of them being Nicole H., and one being Kyle V., who goes to Klein. Apparently just about every other state requires people to be less stupid than in Texas. Like, they don't make the classes easier so people can pass, what a novel concept! I am going to piss on our local representatives. (End of prelude) At the beginning of the summer, i.e. two days after school started Aaron O. told me that there would be no Music Theory class, which I was signed up to take, because not enough people were taking it. So, I was like okay, I'll just take Art History AP, and the more I thought about it, the more psyched I got. Then, I go into school on Thursday to finally get Music Theory changed, which, mind you, no counselor had ever called me or notified me of, and to change German V K to German V AP, just a nominal change. I get a call back on Friday telling me that, not only isn't there a Music Theory class, there is no Art History class. By this time, it's wayyyyy too late to take art in summer school or something, so I have to take like fucking sculpture and the only redeeming factor is that I think I'll be with Bryan C. Then, because I brought up German, Mrs. Walker (read: walking ineptitude) told me that I have to pick between Human Geography AP or German V K (no AP offered), because they are both only offered during third period. Again, I appreciate the early notification. So, right now, I am slated to be a student assisstant, but I think I will just do that one semester and then take Comparative Government AP, although it is a fucking waste of time, the second semester. In the end, though, it's kinda cool because I'll be Mrs. Lauver's T.A. and she was a something-instructor at Rice, and hey, guess what my number one school is!

Yeah. So, that's that.

I went and saw Journey but left before Def Leppard because they fucking suck and saw Mike there, what a coincidence. But, alas, that is another story.

[16 Jul 2006|12:55am]
So, guys, I just got a new bookshelf that my dad built and it is really awesome. I'll take a picture soon or something. Speaking of awesome, though, Ben and I also have swords and shields for the Dragonforce show. That's going to be awesome. K, well, my fingers aren't working, and I keep hitting the wrong keys/missing keys, so I am gonna go now.
